Chairperson Bowers opened the hearing on SB56.
Carol Williams testified in support of SB56 indicating that today's bills are recommendations made by the Governmental Ethics Commission in the agency's 2016 Annual Report and Recommendations. Ms. Williams stated that this bill would eliminate the requirement to file the last minute contribution reports which are filed right before the election. (Attachment 1)
After questions from the Committee were addressed, Chairperson Bowers closed the hearing on SB56.
