Matt Sterling provided an overview of HB2066. (Attachment 2)
Doug Mays spoke in favor of HB2066. He said that presently the state is required to reimburse rural water districts for relocating water lines displaced due to state highway and road construction. He noted that this bill adds public wholesale water districts to the existing statute. (Attachment 3)
Mr. Mays responded to questions from Rep. Sloan and Rep. Schreiber.
The Chairman asked if anyone else wished to testify, there being no further conferees, the Chairman closed the hearing on HB2066.
