Chairman Waymaster opened the hearing on HB 2002.
Scott Frank, Legislative Post Auditor, presented testimony as a proponent of the bill (Attachment 3 He provided background information on the Monumental Building Surcharge. The LPA was temporarily exempted from paying this surcharge. The bill would be a permanent exemption. He noted that this would bring the LPA in line with all other legislative staff agencies.
Chairman Waymaster closed the hearing on the bill.
