Chairperson Hawkins opened the hearing on HB2028.
Norm Furse, Office of Revisor of Statutes, explained that HB 2028 modifies the definition of "Mental Health Technician" and changes the use of the word patients to individuals.

After a question and answer period, the hearing on HB2028 was closed.
Representative Barker moved that the committee pass out HB2028 favorably. Representative Blex seconded the motion, and with no ensuing discussion, HB2028 passed was out of committee on a voice vote.
The next Health and Human Services Committee meeting is scheduled for January 18, 2017, at 1:30 pm, in Room 546-S at the Capitol.
