Tamera Lawrence presented an overview of the bill. (Attachment 5)
Shelly Shores, Section Chief - Bureau of Water, Kansas Department of Health and Evironment (KDHE) provided testimony in support of the bill. (Attachment 6) HB2085 requests a simple revision to existing statute to allow water pollution control permits to run up to ten years in length.
Ms. Shores stood for questions.
