Chair Hoheisel called for final action on SB 139 and recognized Jason Thompson, Senior Assistant Revisor, to provide a brief review of the bill.
Chair Hoheisel moved to amend SB 139 with a proposed amendment, (Attachment2) changing the effective date of the bill to Kansas register, seconded by Representative Stiens. Motion carried.
Representative Roeser moved to favorably pass SB 139, as amended, seconded by Representative Stiens. Motion carried. Representative C. Smith requested his yes vote recorded.
