Chair Tarwater opened the hearing on HB2290.
Representative Turk moved that the open meeting of the House of Representatives Committee on Commerce, Labor and Economic Development be recessed for a closed executive meeting pursuant to KSA 75-4319(a) to discuss subjects relating to foreign adversaries and facilities and operations of national and state security information systems with [Lt. Col. Keith Marshall, David Young, Senator Mike Thompson, Majority Leader Chris Croft and members of the committee], pursuant to KSA 75-4319(b)(12)(C), because the discussion of such subjects in an open meeting would jeopardize such security measures; that the Committee shall resume the open meeting in room 346-S of the Statehouse at [2:06pm]; and that the discussion during the closed or executive meeting shall be limited to those subjects stated in this motion; and to record this motion, if adopted, as part of the permanent records of the Committee.
Chair Tarwater reconvened the regular meeting at 2:06 PM.
