Short Title
Eliminating the requirement that the state 911 board shall contract with a local collection point administrator for services, rescheduling the date on which the state 911 operations fund, state 911 grant fund and state 911 fund shall be established, requiring certain transfers to be made to the state 911 operations fund and rescheduling the date for transferring all 911 fee moneys currently held outside the state treasury to the state treasury.

The Chair opened the hearing on HB 2110.
Nick Myers provided a brief overview of the bill and stood for questions (Attachment 7).
Sherry Massey, executive director, Kansas 911 Coordinating Council, testified in support of the bill (Attachment 8) and stood for questions. Ms. Massey explained that the changes were needed to facilitate the State 911 Board's transition to a state agency.
There being no further conferees, the chair closed the hearing on HB 2110.
