Chairperson Dietrich opened the hearing on HB2042. Revisor Eileen Ma gave a summary of the bill before the Committee.(Attachment 5)
Kyle Strathman of the Department of Insurance was a proponent of the bill. (Attachment 6) As the Committee had already heard this bill as SB22, he kept his remarks brief and stood for questions.
Written proponent testimony was also provided by Ashley Garr, co-chair of the Kansas Land and Title Association. (Attachment 7)
There was no other testimony.
