Chairwoman Estes stated the Committee would start with discussion and possible action on HB2299.
Chairwoman Estes requested a balloon amendment that corrected a drafting error for HB2299. (Attachment 1).
Chairwoman Estes recognized Jason Long, Senior Assistant Revisor, Office of the Revisor of Statutes who explained the amendment. (Attachment 2).
Chairwoman Estes moved, seconded by Representative Steele to accept the balloon amendment to HB2299. Motion carried. Discussion ensued.
Chairwoman Estes moved, seconded by Representative Goetz to pass HB2299 as amendment. Motion carried.
