Natalie Scott, Revisor, briefed HB2270.(Attachment 2) which authorized the chief information security officer (CISO) to receive audit reports and updates statutes related to services provided by the chief information technology officer (CINO). She stood for questions.
Jeff Maxon, Executive Branch Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) testified the HB2270 assists with laying the groundwork and furthers the intent of (2024)SB291. It expands the duties of the CITO also. The intent of the bill is to continue to create efficiencies in information technology, increase visibility of state IT resources, and continue to reduce the risk to the state.(Attachment 3) He stood for questions.
Chris Clark, Legislative Post Auditor, provided neutral testimony. She stated that the bill would add one additional audit report recipient.(Attachment 4) She stood for questions.
Stephanie Smith, Judicial Administrator, Office of Judicial Administration, testified. She proposed several amendments to the bill for clarification purposes.(Attachment 5)
