Amending definitions concerning weights and measurers increasing minimum invoice fees, requiring licenses and education for service company operators, mandating annual device inspections, except for devices with a nominal capacity of 250 pounds or greater used in grain elevators and requiring electric vehicle supply equipment to be tested and inspected annually.

Chairperson Rahjes opened the hearing on HB2255 and asked Revisor Kyle Hamilton, Office of the Revisor of Statutes, to present the bill brief. (Attachment 1)  There were no questions.

Research Analyst, Heather O'Hara, Legislative Research Department, was asked to review the fiscal note.

Testifying in support for HB2255 was Kelsey Olson, Deputy Secretary, Kansas Department of Agriculture. (Attachment 2)  She stood for questions.

Shahira Stafford, on behalf of the Kansas Cooperative Council, submitted Written-Only Proponent testimony. (Attachment 3)
