The chair opened the hearing on HB2168.
Chris Waggoner, Revisor of Statutes, gave to the committee a briefing on the bill.(Attachment 13) In addition he presented a technical amendment.(Attachment 14)
Zach Denney director of government affairs gave oral proponent testimony to the committee stating that HB2168 would create the blackout distinctive license plate. The bill would also establish the License Plate Replacement Fund for replacing license plates when the lifespan of the license plates have been exhausted as determined by the Director of Vehicles. (Attachment 15 )
There was no neutral testimony and no opponent testimony.
The hearing was closed on HB2168.
