Chairperson Proctor opened discussion on HB2022 and recognized Assistant Revisor, Mike Heim, Office of Revisor of Statutes who presented summary of HB2022. (Attachment 4)
Conferees testifying in support for HB2022 included:
Clay Barker, Deputy Secretary of State, General Counsel testified in support for HB2022. (Attachment 5)
There was no neutral testimony for HB2022.
There was no opponent testimony for HB2022.
Chairperson Proctor closed hearing on HB2022.
Chairperson Proctor asked committee if anyone objected to working the two bills heard today as this was the last committee meeting before turn-around. There was no objection from any committee member to work the bills.
Representative Penn moved, seconded by Representative Haskins to suspend the rules and work HB2056 and HB2022. today in committee. Motion passed.
Representative Penn moved, seconded by Representative Chauncey to pass HB2056. Motion passed.
Representative Waggoner moved, seconded by Representative Haskins to pass HB2022. with secondary suggestion to place on Consent Calendar. Motion carried.
