Chris Waggoner, Assistant Revisor of Statutes, provided the committee with a briefing of HB2124.(Attachment 6)
Representative Kyle Hoffman, District # 116, gave testimony in support of HB2124 which would designate a portion of U.S. Highway 160, between mile marker 275 and Eden Road, as the CPL Monte Wayne Forrest Memorial Highway to honor and pay tribute to life and service of Corporal Monte Wayne Forrest.(Attachment 7)
Rich Forrest, relative of Monte Forrest, gave testimony in support of HB2124 for Monte's heroic actions and ultimate sacrifice while serving in the Vietnam War.(Attachment 8)
There were no opponents and no neutral testimonies.
Chairman Francis closed on HB2124.
