Representative Lewis Bloom, District #54 , gave testimony in support of HB2105 which would designate a portion of U.S. Highway 77 and a bridge on K-82 as the POW/MIA Memorial Highway and Bridge as a solemn and enduring reminder honoring those who have served our country sacrificing their lives as Prisoners of War (POW) and those Missing in Action (MIA).(Attachment 2)
Mr. Glenn Nelson, a military retiree and private citizen, gave testimony in support of HB2105 as Kansas does not have a highway or bridge designated to memorialize all Kansas POW's and MIA's. (Attachment 3)
Mike Kelly, State Legislative Lead for Kansas Council chapters of Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) presented written testimony in support of HB2105. (Attachment 4)
Jim Deister, VVA Kansas State Council of POW/MIA Chair, gave written testimony in support of HB2105.(Attachment 5)
