Chairperson Rajhes opened the hearing on HB2111 and requested Revisor Kyle Hamilton, Office of Revisor of Statutes to give the bill brief. (Attachment 1) He stood for questions.

Research Analyst, Heather O'Hara, Legislative Research Department, reviewed the fiscal note.

Chairperson Rahjes called upon the following to give oral proponent testimony:

Josh McGinn, Assistant Secretary, Kansas Department of Agriculture (Attachment 2)  He stood for questions.

Justin Cobb, Government Relations Manager, The Nature Conservancy (Attachment 3) There were no questions.

Written-only proponent testimony was received from the following:

Dan Meyerhoff, Kansas Association of Conservation Districts (Attachment 4)

Kent Askren, Public Policy Director, Kansas Farm Bureau (Attachment 5)

There was no other proponent or opponent testimony.

Giving oral neutral testimony was Randy Stookey, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs & General Counsel, Kansas Grain and Feed Association and Kansas Agribusiness Retailers Association (Attachment 6)  He stood for questions.

Written-only neutral testimony was received from:

Chairperson Rahjes thanked the conferees for their testimony.

Chairperson Rahjes closed the hearing on HB2111.
