Chairperson Rahjes opened the hearing on HB2064 and asked Revisor Kyle Hamilton, Office of Revisor of Statutes, to give a brief of the bill. (Attachment 1) He stood for questions.
Research Analyst, Heather O'Hara, Legislative Research Department, was asked to review the fiscal note.
Chairperson Rahjes called upon the following individuals to give oral proponent testimony:
Joe Dom, Bureau Director for Bureau of Waste Management, Kansas Department of Health and Environment (Attachment 2). He stood for questions.
Ryan A. Hoffman, Director, Conservation Division, Kansas Corporation Commission (Attachment 3). Mr. Hoffman stood for questions.
Offering written-only proponent testimony was:
Charlie Hunt, Director, Johnson County Department of Health and Environment. (Attachment 4)
