Representative Patrick Penn, 85th District, gave testimony in support of HB2029 which would rename a portion of the KS-5 Highway in front of the Quindaro Ruins after Representative Marvin S. Robinson II. Kansas Representative Robinson of the 35th District left a legacy deeply intertwined with the preservation of the Quindaro Ruins and Townsite.(Attachment 2)
Representative Barbara Ballard, 44th District, presented testimony supporting HB2029 honoring Marvin S. Robinson II and his 37 years of protecting and improving the Quindaro Ruins and Underground Railway. (Attachment 3)
