Chairman Delperdang called for final action on SB380.

Nick Myers, Office of Revisor of Statutes provided a brief review of the bill and responded to questions from the committee members.

Chairman Delperdang provided a proposed amendment to the bill, having to do with applying the bill to investor-owned electric utilities only and retail competition with private companies. (Attachment1)

Chairman Delperdang made a motion on the amendment, seconded by Representative Bergquist. Motion carried.

Representative Neighbor made a motion to favorably pass out SB380 as amended, seconded by Representative Ohaebosim. Motion carried.
