Mike Heim, Office of Revisor of Statutues, gave a briefing (Attachment 1) of the bill. Establishing the born to invest act and requiring the office of vital statistics to provide data to the office of the state treasurer for the distribution of informational materials regarding certain government-administered savings accounts. 

Steven Johnson, Kansas State Treasurer, provided oral testimony (Attachment 2) in support of the bill. He stood for questions.

Adrienne Olejnik, Kansas Action for Children, provided oral testimony (Attachment 3) in support of the bill.

Whit Downing, Kansas Council on Development Disabilities, provided oral testimony (Attachment 4) in support of the bill.

Lola Kernell, Kansas Council on Development Disabilities, provided oral testimony (Attachment 5) in support of the bill.
