 Assistant Revisor Ma provided an overview of the bill and stood for questions. (Attachment 1)

Eric Turek, Director of Government Affairs, Kansas Department of Insurance provided testimony in favor of this bill and stood for questions.  This bill eliminates inconsistencies, by setting a uniform time frame for responses to complaints. Additionally, cleans up ambiguity for out-of-state companies seeking to conduct business in Kansas, ensuring new companies satisfy all requirement in law. (Attachment 2)
