The Chair opened the hearing on SB321.   

Chris Waggoner provided the committee with a briefing on the bill. (Attachment 1)

Chris Courtwright provided  proponent testimony to the committee sharing some of the stories of Representative Robert Tomlinson's life  while serving in the Kansas House of Representatives and becoming a significant figure in Kansas.(Attachment 2)

Chris Tomlinson, the youngest son of Representative Tomlinson, stood for proponent testimony to share the impact his father had on him and on many others as Chris was growing up. Having the bridge at I35 and 18th Street Expressway /US 69 named after Robert Tomlinson would bring reminders of the inspiration that he was to others. (Attachment 3)  

Phillip Tomlinson, the older son of Representative Tomlinson,  provided proponent testimony to the committee of the inspiration his father was to him personally and to those around him. (Attachment 4)

Former Legislator Kent Glasscock shared how Bob's service in the House was remarkable and one who led with integrity, serviced with compassion and one who left an indelible mark upon those whom he served.  (Attachment 5)
