Lane Letourneau, water Appropriation Program Manager, Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks submitted testimony in support of the bill.(Attachment 2) This bill aims to protect individual privacy and ensure that notice of new appropriations of water will be provided to all potentially affected water right holders while reducing application processing time.
