Chairperson Gossage opened the hearing on HB2562. Dankia Short, Assistant Revisor, Kansas Office of Revisor of Statutes briefed the committee on the bill. (Attachment13)

Chairperson Gossage introduced Jennifer Caswell who testified in support of the bill. (Attachment14). Ms. Caswell stated the bill would allow physical therapists to certify disability parking placards for mobility-based impairments. 

Chairperson Gossage introduced Chris Deck who expressed support for the bill.  (Attachment15) He stated the bill would authorize physical therapists to certify disability placard and license plate applications for mobility-based impairments.

The conferees stood for questions from the committee.
