Chairperson Rahjes opened the hearing on SB 425 and asked Revisor Kyle Hamilton, Office of Revisor of Statutes, to give a review of the bill. (Attachment 1) He stood for questions.

Analyst Walter Schmidt, Legislative Research Department, was requested to review the fiscal note.

Oral Proponent, Josh McGinn, Assistant Secretary, Kansas Department of Agriculture was requested to testify on SB 425. (Attachment 2)  Mr. McGinn answered questions.

There being no other testimony, Chairperson Rahjes thanked Mr. McGinn and closed the hearing on SB 425.
