Adam Siebers provided an overview for HB2475 that provides a sales tax exemption for all sales of personal property and services purchased by radical life an organization exempt from income taxation established for the purpose of strengthening families and preventing foster care placement in and around Lyon county.

Chairperson Smith provided a technical amendment for HB2475 from the Kansas Department of Revenue which creates consistency in the language of the bill.  

 Chairperson Smith moved, seconded by Representative Sawyer, to amend HB2475. (Attachment 16)

Chairperson Smith closed on his amendment for HB2475. Motion carries. 

Representative Howerton moved, seconded by Representative Wolf, the Committee recommends HB2475 as amended favorable for passage. Motion carries.
