Tanya Keys, Deputy Secretary, DCF, spoke in opposition to the bill. DCF supports the establishment of a registry, but had concerns with the length of the appeals process, putting someone on the registry before an investigation is completed, and attributes of expungement that she recommended be codified. (Attachment 1)
