Dahnika Short, Revisor of Statutes, provided an overview of HB2760 (Attachment 12).
William Wilk on behalf of the Kansas Chamber, provided testimony in support of HB2760 (Attachment 13). HB2760 will not only help military spouses who are esthetician license holders but allow estheticians from other states, which have passed the compact, the option to have their license recognized in Kansas. Mr. Wilk provided possible technical amendments for the bill.
Leslie Roste, Private Citizen, provided testimony in support of HB2760 (Attachment 14). Ms. Roste provided information regarding the out of state licensure process. The compacts are a proven, innovative solution to license mobility.
