Chairperson Dietrich opened the hearing on SB 412. Revisor Eileen Ma gave an overview of the bill. (Attachment 3)

Brock Roehler of the Office of the State Bank Commissioner spoke in support of the bill. (Attachment 4) He explained that the bill stems from a complaint stemming from a conservatorship in which a bank was not notified of a judicial freeze order on an account.

There was one written only proponent testimony received from Kelly VanZwoll of the Kansas Bankers Association (Attachment 5).

The hearing on SB 412 was closed by Chairperson Dietrich.
