Chairperson Bowers opened the hearing on SB362.  Jason Long, staff revisor, provided a briefing on the bill and addressed questions from the Committee. (Attachment 1)

Senator Tim Shallenburger testified in support of SB362.  Senator Shallenburger explained the bill requires the offices of the Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, and Commissioner of Insurance to maintain records of travel, after the fact, that is paid for or reimbursed by tax dollars and that those records be made available upon request.  Senator Shallenburger addressed questions from the Committee.  (Attachment 2)
