Chairperson Dietrich opened the floor to work HB2043. Revisor Eileen Ma reviewed the bill for the Committee and stood for questions. Senator Gossage offered an amendment to change the language of the bill regarding the response time by insurance companies to consumer complaints. (Attachment 6)

     Senator Gossage moved that the amendment be adopted. Senator Rose seconded. Motion passed.

Senator Fagg offered an amendment to change publication from the statute book to the Kansas register. (Attachment 7)

     Senator Fagg moved that the amendment be adopted. Senator Argabright seconded. Motion passed.

     Senator Fagg moved that the HB2043 be passed favorably as amended. Senator Gossage seconded. Motion passed.
