Kyle Hamilton, Office of the Revisor of Statutes, gave a briefing on the bill. The bill regards squatters.

Representative Resman offered an amendment (Attachment 9) which would implement suggested changes from the sheriff association, requesting a notarized affidavit, false information on affidavit, immediate family member is defined, and included law enforcement officers in addition to the sheriff.

Representative Resman moved, seconded by Representative Howell to pass the amendment as proposed. Motion carried.

The Chairman asked for discussion.

Representative Sanders moved ,Representative Ward seconded to pass HB2378 as amended. Motion carried.
