Chairperson Humphries called for discussion and final action on HB2183.

Representative Barrett proposed an amendment that would expand the bill to include any artificially-generated image of a child. (Attachment 45)

Representative Barrett moved, Representative Sweely seconded, to adopt the amendment to HB2183. The motion carried.

Representative Ward proposed an amendment that would include the word "Cable Services" and provides exemptions to those entities. (Attachment 46)

Discussion ensued.

Representative Ward moved, Representative Borjon seconded to adopt the amendment to HB2183. The motion carried. 

Representative Carmichael requested his affirmative vote on the amendment be recorded.

Representative Williams moved, Representative Ward seconded, to recommend HB2183 as amended favorably for passage. The motion carried. 

Representative Carmichael requested his nay vote be recorded.
