Chairperson Dietrich called the Committee to work SB 22. Revisor Eileen Ma provided an overview of the bill and answered questions from the Committee. Revisor Ma offered an amendment to the bill that was requested by the Department of Insurance to change the effective date to January 1, 2026. (Attachment 5)

     Senator Gossage moved to amend SB 22. Senator Francisco seconded. Motion carried.

     Senator Fagg moved to pass SB 22 favorably out of Committee as amended. Senator Argabright seconded. Motion carried.
