Representative Schlingensiepen proposed an amendment that would have replacement costs include training costs, personnel expenses and costs associated with boarding the animal during training. (Attachment 1)
Representative Schlingensiepen moved, Representative Carmichael seconded, to adopt the amendment. The motion carried. Representatives Schlingensiepen, Carmichael, and Martinez requested their "aye" votes be recorded.
Representative Carmichael proposed an amendment that would restore the status quo to the penalty as it relates to assistance dogs. (Attachment 2)
