Chairperson Longbine turned the Committee's attention to action on HB2098. He announced there was an amendment to change the effective date to its publication in the Kansas Register. (Attachment 9)
Chairperson Longbine moved the amendment, seconded by Senator Gossage. The amendment was adopted .
Senator Kloos moved, seconded by Senator Warren, to pass HB2098, as amended, with favorable recommendation. The motion carried.
