This bill amends K.S.A. 40-4905, 40-4906, and 40-5505, concerning the licensure requirements for insurance agents, insurance agencies, and public adjustors. Currently there are set fees. The Kansas Insurance Department wants the flexibility to lower those statutorily set fees in an amount not to exceed what is currently in statute.
