\"Sec13:OnandafterJuly1,2022,KSA2021Supp.72-5178isherebyamendedtoreadasfollows:72-5178.(a)OnorbeforeJanuary15ofeachyear,thestatedepartmentofeducationshallprepareandsubmitadigitallyupdateonthewebsiteofthestatedepartmentofeducationtheperformanceaccountabilityreportreportsandalongitudinalachievementreportforreportsuponallstudentsenrolledinanypublicschooloraccreditednonpublicschoolinthestate,eachschooldistrict,eachschooloperatedbyaschooldistrictandeachaccreditednonpublicschooltothegovernorandtothelegislature.\\r\\n(b)\\u2003Eachperformanceaccountabilityreportshallbepreparedinasingle-pageformatcontainingtheinformationthatisrequiredtobereportedunderthefederalelementaryandsecondaryeducationact,asamendedbythefederaleverystudentsucceedsact,publiclaw114-95,oranysuccessorfederalacts,andthecollegeandcareerreadinessmetricsdevelopedandimplementedbythestateboard.Thereportshallusethecategoriesforachievementidentifiedunderthefederaleverystudentsucceedsact,publiclaw114-95,oranysuccessorachievementcategories.Allcategoriesandmetricsincludedinthereportshallbeclearlydefined.\\r\\n(c)\\u2003EachlongitudinalachievementreportshallprovidetheachievementratesonthestateassessmentsforEnglishlanguagearts,mathandscienceforallstudentsandeachstudentsubgroupandthechangeinachievementrateyear-over-yearstartingwiththeschoolyearinwhichthestateboardfirstimplementednewachievementstandardsonsuchstateassessments.\\r\\n(d)\\u2003OnorbeforeJanuary15ofeachyear,thestatedepartmentofeducationshallpreparewrittenacademicachievementreportstoprovideasummaryofstudentachievementinthisstateandshallsubmitsuchreportstothegovernorandthelegislature.Suchwrittenacademicachievementreportsshall:\\r\\n(1)\\u2003Provideastatewidesummaryoftheperformanceaccountabilityreportsandlongitudinalachievementreportspreparedpursuanttothissection.Suchsummaryreportshallprovide:\\r\\n(A)\\u2003AchievementdatafromtheEnglishlanguageartsassessmentsandmathassessmentsovertheprecedingfiveyearsforallstudentsandstudentsubgroupstoshowwhethertherearestatewidetrendsinacademicimprovementorlearninglossamongallstudentsandstudentsubgroups;\\r\\n(B)\\u2003acomparisontoanyotherevaluationmetricusedbythestateboardofeducationtoevaluatestudentachievementsuchascollegeandcareerreadinessmeasurementsorgraduationrates;\\r\\n(C)\\u2003acomparisontoothereducationalassessmentsthatmeasureacademicperformancesuchasthenationalassessmentofeducationalprogress;\\r\\n(D)\\u2003ananalysisofthetrendsinstudentachievementoutcomesandareviewofconditionsthatareimpactingrecentstudentachievementoutcomes;\\r\\n(E)\\u2003areviewoftheacademicinterventionsthatschooldistrictsareusingtoimprovestudentperformance,whetherthestateboardofeducationhasanyspecificrecommendationsregardingacademicinterventionstoimproveacademicachievementandanestimationoftheacademicachievementgainsthatcanbeexpectedfromsuchinterventions;and\\r\\n(F)\\u2003asummaryoftheperformancelevelsandthescaleandcutscoresforthestatewideassessmentsandhowsuchinformationshouldbeusedtodrawconclusionsaboutstudentachievement;and\\r\\n(2)\\u2003provideastudent-focusedlongitudinalachievementreportthatprovidesinformationontheacademicachievementofcertainstudentcohortgroupstoshowtheachievementgainsorlearninglossesthatareoccurringforsuchstudents.Suchreportshallbeginwiththestudentswhoareenteringgradethreeandgradeeightinschoolyear2022-2023.Thereportshallsummarizethelongitudinalachievementofsuchstudentsoverathree-yearperiodandshallberepeatedeverythreeyearsforthestudentsenteringsuchgradelevels.Thelongitudinalreportshallprovide:\\r\\n(A)\\u2003Asummaryoftheimprovementorlearninglossthatisoccurringwithinsuchstudentcohortgroupsoversuchthree-yearperiodforallsuchstudentsandthestudentsubgroups;\\r\\n(B)\\u2003ananalysisoftheevaluationsandmetricsthatareusedtomeasuretheyear-over-yearachievementofsuchstudentcohortgroups;\\r\\n(C)\\u2003areviewoftheacademicinterventionsthatschooldistrictsareusingtoimprovestudentperformancewithinsuchstudentcohortgroups,whetherthestateboardofeducationhasanyspecificrecommendationsregardingacademicinterventionstoimproveacademicachievementandanestimateoftheacademicachievementgainsthatcanbeexpectedfromsuchinterventions;and\\r\\n(D)\\u2003theachievementresultsfromtheEnglishlanguageartsassessmentsandmathassessmentsforsuchstudentcohortgroupsandanyotherassessmentdatapertainingtosuchstudentcohortgroups,including,butnotlimitedto,thenationalassessmentforeducationalprogress,theACTcollegeentranceexamandthepre-ACTassessment.\\r\\n(d)\\u2003AllreportspreparedpursuanttothissectionshallbepublishedinaccordancewithKSA2021Supp.72-1181,andamendmentsthereto.\\r\\n\":
