The Chairman recognized Deann Williams. (Attachment 2) According to Ms. Williams this change is to conform with changes to the federal odometer disclosure law. She said the ruling changed the exemption from vehicle odometer disclosure requirements to apply to model year 2011 and newer vehicles, which extends the odometer disclosure from vehicles 10 years old and newer to vehicles 20 years old and newer.
Chairman Proehl asked if anyone else wanted to speak as a proponent, or opponent or as a neutral. No one stepped forward so the Chairman closed the hearing on SB306 and opened the hearing on SB326.
