Chairperson Huebert opened the hearing on SB277.
Revisor Jason Long gave an overview of the bill. There were no questions. (Attachment 1)
Dr. Cleveland spoke as a proponent of SB277. He is the third generation of his family to lead Cleveland University. He shared the present offerings of the school. This bill allows the school to expand student intern involvement with non-profit clinics throughout the state. This would allow accessible services to be offered in many parts of the state. (Attachment 2)
Matt Lindsey spoke in favor of the bill, and encouraged the Committee to approve this legislation which would support the work of one of the best higher education institutions focused on chiropractic medicine. (Attachment 3)
