Chairman Sutton ask for approval of minutes.
Representative Carpenter moved, Representative Parker seconded to approve the minutes from Feb. 6th, 11th, 13th. and 18th, it passed.
Chairman Sutton opened the Hearing on HB 2606.
Staff Revisor gave overview of the bill.
- Proponent Mike Kuckleham gave testimony. He stated that when Kansas voters elect a Republican or Democrat in a statewide office, they do so because the candidate supports that party's agenda. (Attachment 1)
There being no other confrees, Chairman Sutton closed the hearing.
Representative Carpenter moved to suspend the 24 hour rule, Representative Dove seconded. The motion failed.
