Staff provided the Committee members with a chart reporting State Aid Rates for Capital Improvement State Aid comparing Bonds approved after 7/1/2015, Proposed in SB382 and Proposed in SB382 but excluding Virtual Students from AVPP. (Attachment 11)
Staff provided an amendment to change the date on page 4, line 28 to 2015 which will equalize aid to School Districts. (Attachment 12)
Senator Braun moved the amendment; Senator Thompson seconded. The motion carried.
Staff provided an amendment to exclude Virtual students from the AVPP. (Attachment 13)
Senator Braun moved the amendment; Senator Givens seconded. The motion carried.
Dustin Avey, Managing Director, Piper Sandler & Co., answered questions from the Committee.
Senator Braun moved to pass out SB382 favorably as amended; Senator Rucker seconded. The motion carried.
