Adam Siebers provided an overview on HB2441 that would authorize all cities and school districts to establish a community historical museum funded by a property tax levy. The new tax levy could not exceed one mill and would be subject to a five percent protest petition.
Representative Mason moved, seconded by Representative Baker, the Committee recommend HB2441 be passed.
Representative Mason moved, seconded by Representative Thimesch to amend HB2441. Motion passed. (Attachment 6).
