Professor Linda Elrod provided testimony in support of the bill. Prof. Elrod believes that arbitration should be an option for family law cases. She stated the increasing volume of contested family law cases combined with budget cuts to state courts make it necessary for legislatures, lawyers and judges to think about alternative ways to resolve disputes. Prof. Elrod stood for questions. (Attachment 2)
