Natalie Scott gave an overview of HB2494.
Executive Director Scott Schultz on behalf of the Kansas Sentencing Commission testified in support of HB2494. He stated making the crime tiered to the severity of the underlying crime will make violations more proportional with the underlying offenses. (Attachment 14)
The Committee had questions and comments.
