Chair Kelly announced consideration of working HB 2503, and recognized David Wiese, Assistant Revisor of Statutes, who provided a refresher on HB 2503. (Attachment2)
Chair Kelly recognized Representative Brenda Dietrich.
Representative Brenda Dietrich made a motion to report HB 2503 without recommendation. The motion was seconded by Representative Tom Cox.
Chair Kelly opened for discussion.
Representative Brenda Dietrich closed on her motion to report HB 2503 without recommendation and the motion passed on a voice vote.
A hand vote was taken (at the request of the committee) and the motion passed 9 to 6. The following committee members requested their votes be recorded. Representative Frownfelter, Representative Benson, Representative Weigel, Representative Rhiley and Representative Delperdang all voting NO. Representative Gail Finney voting YES.
The next House Financial Institutions and Pensions committee meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 17, 2020.
