The Chairman opened the hearing on HB 2428 and called on Chris Waggoner to review the Reviser's Report Memorandum with the committee.

Representative Dietrich initiated the bill based upon a fee increase that affected one of her constituents. She stated that the lack of oversight was why she originally created the bill.

The Chairman called on Executive Director Larry Karns representing the Board of Technical Professions for testimony. (Attachment 2). Director Karns stated that they do not oppose the bill, and did not state any concerns.

Representative Ellis moved to suspend the 24 hour rules, and work the bill, seconded by Representative Kessinger. Motion carried unanimously.
Action on: HB2428.
Representative Ellis moved to pass HB2428 favorably for passage, Representative Kessinger seconded the motion. Motion carried.
