Natalie Scott provided an overview of HB2450. She stood for questions. (Attachment 8)
Derek Schmidt testified in support of the bill. Mr. Schmidt’s office has investigated the Clean Indoor Air Act and would like to include the use of electronic cigarettes in all places were the current language of the Act prohibits smoking. Mr. Schmidt stood for questions. (Attachment 9)
Rob Gilligan testified in support of the bill and recommends prohibiting not only students and staff but also parent, volunteers, contractors and vendors from using any tobacco products and e-cigarettes at all school owned property at all times. Mr. Gilligan stood for questions. (Attachment 10)
Jordan Feuerborn testified in support of the bill creating communities that support tobacco-free living. Also that the definition of e-cigarettes needs to be broadened to include all vaping regardless of nicotine or not. Mr. Feuerborn stood for questions. (Attachment 11)
