Jason Thompson, Revisor of Statutes, gave an overview.
Senator Mike Petersen moved to amend the language in HB2178. (Attachment 39) Senator Molly Baumgardner seconded the motion. The motion to amend was passed.
Senator Eric Rucker discussed the marking of lines on private property and who has responsibility for the private line.
Senator Randall Hardy moved to favorably pass HB2178, as amended. Senator Elaine Bowers seconded the motion. The motion passed on a voice vote.
Chair Rick Wilborn closed and adjourned the hearing on HB2178 at 11:56 am.
